CAA STUDENT CARE
Thank you for your interest in Before and After School Care at Calgary Arts Academy.
Calgary Arts Academy Student Care is licensed through the Alberta Ministry of Children Services. Student Care has operated in Calgary since 1988 and has worked with the Calgary Arts Academy since its first day of class in 2003. CAA Student Care operates on-site at the Elementary (Knob Hill) and Middle School (Rosscarrock) campuses with the support of Calgary Arts Academy administration and the Charter Board. Our program is designed to support CAA families by providing high-quality, engaging care for students from Kindergarten through Year 6.
Student Care is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We offer:

Care on non-instructional days, including Professional Development Days and Student-Led Conference days

Care is also offered during most school breaks
Federal Affordability Funding is available for all Kindergarten students. Provincial subsidy may be available for eligible families through the Alberta Child Care Subsidy program.

We value parent involvement and welcome your feedback as we continually strive to deliver an exceptional school-age care program. Families will have the opportunity to learn more about Student Care during their Calgary Arts Academy tour. Families can also reach out to the program directly and speak with the Program Director for more information about the CAA Student Care program.
Registration Information
Registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once capacity has been reached, a waitlist is maintained and spaces are offered as they become available.
We encourage families to contact Student Care after applying to Calgary Arts Academy to add their child to our interest list. Please note that students can only be accepted into CAA Student Care after being confirmed as enrolled in the Calgary Arts Academy.
Registration for the upcoming school year opens each May. From September through April, we maintain an interest list for families seeking future enrolment.
