Mrs. Morrison’s passion in education is early literacy and learning through the arts. She began her teaching career as a Kindergarten teacher and gradually taught many combinations of Grades 1 to 6. She completed her MEd degree in leadership and early literacy and worked as an Early Reading Intervention and Literacy Specialist. Her love of music and the arts was central to her work as an Assistant Principal in three Calgary Board of Education Schools. For more than 10 years, she continued her leadership as a Principal in CBE schools with a focus on personalizing learning, literacy, and learning through the arts. For many years she has been a proud member of the CAA Adult Choir.
