Calgary Arts Academy Awards – CAA’s Winter Celebration

Each year, students and staff work together on a large scale production that is presented at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in December.  This production involves ALL CAA students and ALL teachers and artists.

At one time, this Winter Celebration was presented over the course of two or three evening performances in order to allow the families of all students to be in attendance.  The production would vary from night to night, depending on which students were performing.  Over the years, our student population grew and with it, the number of family members that wished to see the production.  In 2011, we changed the format to include one theme, one evening performance and a larger venue – the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.

“The Jube” seats over 2,500 and we have sold out every year.

This year’s theme is Calgary Arts Academy Awards and features performances of Academy Award nominated songs and scores. Once again, all CAA students perform, with a guest appearance by the Calgary Arts Academy Adult Choir.
